H's began with something very personal.

I have always loved specialty coffee, but never just for the drink itself. It was always about what happens around it. The conversations. The quiet moments. The feeling of being together. In its simplest form, coffee brings people closer. At the same time, my love for my country and its people has always been at the centre of everything I do. The UAE has given us so much, a sense of safety, belonging, and community. H's is my way of giving something back, even in a small way.

From the beginning, I wanted H's to stand for more than good coffee. It had to carry meaning. That is why we offer coffee to the police and those on the front lines. And why, for every cup sold, a dirham goes to the Emirates Red Crescent. Small gestures, but they come from a genuine place of gratitude. Running H's has been one of my greatest teachers. Every day I learn something new. About people, about patience, about what it really means to build something with intention. It continues to shape me as much as I shape it. But more than anything, I never wanted H's to feel like it belongs to me alone.  I want it to feel like it belongs to everyone who walks through the door. A place where people can contribute. Where someone can create a menu item, host a talk, share an idea, or simply bring people together.

A space that grows with its community. H's is still evolving. Still learning. Still becoming. But at its heart, it will always remain simple. A place built on coffee, people, and connection. A place that feels like yours.
